After Basic Training we got over to Korea. I had it made. After about a month I drove Jeep for a Second Lt. and we went all over the country. We just went from one place to another. He tried to get me to enlist. The company was going to Hawaii, but I didn’t. Sorry ever since. I got out of the army and came home. I worked for farmers and Construction in Colorado. I got tired of that job. I got a job at Safeway’s, and worked there for 34 ½ years. Then I went to work for West Jordan City for about 10 years. I retired from there and just worked part-time for them in the summer. In the winter time, my wife and I were in Arizona for about 10 years. Then she got cancer and had to stay home. I have been here ever since.
